took one week off Thanksgiving stretch to trap with my 5 yr old. We had a ball...weather was in 50s and 60s each day. We caught coons, coyotes, skunks, possums, fox, you name it. Saw tons of wildlife, had a picnic lunch in the woods each day, and just thoroughly enjoyed the time together. He dug dirtholes for me, pounded stakes, applied lure, bait, etc. and really got into looking for sign. Day 4 he had a double on coyotes, one was in a #11 at a coon set and other was in a #2 longspring in a bean field, both only about 15 yards apart. Only thing I did at either set was set and bed the trap for him, he did everything else. And who said you couldn't use #11s for coyotes...that was our 5th now in Sleepy Creek double jaw models at coon dirthole sets baited with fish and red fox gland lure.
Anyway, just wanted to update everyone. Hope everyone else is having a great time this season too! Jim
