Didn't buy any lure or bait and only used what we could scrounge up from the freezer or cupboard.
Coon: Got a bunch of nice ones this year at dryland dirthole sets baited with nothing but a mixture of canned jack mackeral and about $2.00 worth of pre-cooked crawfish I purchased months ago at Wal-mart but didn't get to eat yet. I thawed them out, mixed them with the canned mackeral, added a 1/2 cup of salt, and let it sit in a plastic ice cream pail for about a week at room temperature before freezing before season. Took 2 coyotes on it also.
Coon and coyotes: I had a bag of pheasant parts from the opener bird cleaning party, mostly innards, legs, and backs. I cut them up very fine with a cleaver and let these age for about a week at room temperature, then added 1/2 cup of salt and froze it. I used it at dirthole sets with success on both coons and coyotes this season.

I saw there was instructions for setting traps with (hands) and I was wondering if you had instructions for using (feet) because I'm tired of getting my hands pinched.
